The last few days

The last few days since the game I have been up to a few things and perhaps its about time I posted. Thursday was alike friday weatherwise, with not much snow and just cold drizzle, so there wasnt the best conditions to go outside. So inside we went. Luke left yesterday at 9 am to fly to Texas and play Rice so that left me all alone with only the company of Lizzie and Aisha to occupy myself for the few days that he was to be gone. Thursday was a good day because it was the first that we went to a Smiths (something alike a Coles+ Big W + every other store like that put together) and got some food. Now I can wake up and make myself some toast and milk for breakfast, which I must say is an exciting notion. We also splashed out and bought some oranges, apples and some bananas for a ridiculous price- so at least I am eating something healthy Helen and Mum.
Friday was crappy outside again, so it was more inside activity. We were going to a "ugly sweater" party that night, so going down to the DI (something akin to the Salvos) and bought some hideous sweaters ( jumpers...). Then to pass the time til 10 or so I went down to the Hertiage Centre to play some pool. Well, the table was being used so the girls went to the computer lab to wait. I waited next to the pool place in front of the TV. So as I was waiting, the guy who had the table asked me to come play as he had noone to play with. I played a little and after a while the girls and his brother came back. This then started some 2 on 2 pool action and a game called cut throat which is a free for all for 3 players. Needless to say that this guy was one of the best pool players I have ever seen. He would make shots that everyone would think that were next to impossible. I'd make the call that he was better than Matt, Trev or anyone else at Westchurch.
The party that night was an interesting look into the American cultural experience-college style. Safe to say that quantity is valued over quality for beer. I have never tasted anything more like water that is actually sold as alcohol, but hey, I have been told that this is the crime of Utah and college students in general. The dress up part of the party was fun and there were some horribly garish jumpers there. I was told that mine was interesting- by people who could still see of course.
Until next time- Luke should be playing soon and there is a possiblilty of movie action tonight.
